There are tons of antivirus apps on the Android Market, so how can you really know which one to download? Kaspersky Anti-Virus is hands-down the best way to keep your phone safe from viruses and other malware attacks.
You don’t have to take my word for it, though—here are 5 reasons why this antivirus app should be your number one choice.
Advanced Scanning
This app features a powerful scanner that can find malware even after it has been downloaded to your phone. Kaspersky’s virus database is constantly being updated, which helps keep your device safe from new viruses. The app locker feature allows you to lock certain apps on your phone if you lose it or someone else gets their hands on it. You can also remotely locate and wipe clean your data from lost phones using special GPS tracking software. All of these features make Kaspersky one of our favorite antivirus apps for android.
The interface is easy to use, but there are a few confusing steps when setting up an account. When installing Kaspersky on your phone, you will have to choose between two options: Premium and Total Security. The difference between them isn’t explained well in any sort of tutorial; however, we were able to figure out that Premium gives you some basic protection for free while Total Security requires an annual subscription fee (currently $29.99/year). Total Security comes with more security features such as call blocking and Wi-Fi network scanning as well as an ad blocker and anti-theft protection. We recommend going with Total Security because it offers better protection than other antivirus apps at a reasonable price. Overall, Kaspersky is a great option for those looking to protect their devices from malware without having to pay too much money each year. The best part about Kaspersky mobile security is its ability to scan files before they are installed on your phone.
It scans all incoming files includingemails attachments and downloads so that you don’t risk downloading malicious files onto your device. There are three different levels of scanning available: fast scan, full scan, and custom scan where you can specify exactly what types of files should be scanned. These scans aren’t always completely accurate though; sometimes harmless programs get flagged as dangerous by mistake.
Virus Definitions are Updated Daily
If you’re going to use an antivirus app, then you need to make sure that it’s regularly updated with virus definitions. Most apps will get you through a few weeks of false alarms or zero threats before forcing an updat, but then sit on your phone doing nothing until that happens.
You can’t let an app like that babysit your data—you have better things to do with your time. Kaspersky Anti-Virus works around these issues by ensuring daily updates and automatic checks if anything new has been discovered. With such a simple and unobtrusive method of protection, there's no reason why everyone doesn't use it. The user interface looks great: One thing we love about Kaspersky Anti-Virus is how it looks.
There are plenty of other security apps out there that come across as trying too hard, all garish colors and blocky buttons, but Kaspersky's interface isn't one of them. The look may not be flashy, but it gets straight to business without any confusing gimmicks or unnecessary elements getting in your way. Simplicity reigns supreme when looking for a great mobile security solution and while many others claim they provide just that, they fall short due to their overwhelming nature.
Kaspersky avoids these pitfalls by keeping everything nice and tidy in its own place. It even comes with a dark mode so you don't lose sleep at night staring ata bright screen. It's reliable: Sometimes, you download an app because it looks good or sounds good on paper, only to find that it simply won't work properly.
This can be incredibly frustrating when dealing with something as important as your phone's security, which is why reliability needs to be taken into consideration from day one. Thankfully, Kaspersky does exactly what it says on the tin (or rather in its description). It keeps your device protected from malware attacks and viruses without causing any headaches along the way. Its ease of use makes it perfect for those who aren't tech-savvy enough to know what they're doing yet still want solid protection against cybercriminals lurking online.
User Interface (UI) Design
Given that we're discussing a mobile app, it goes without saying that good user interface (UI) design is key. That said, not all apps are created equal and it's important to figure out what will work best for your own app. For example, some apps perform better if users can scroll through different sections of content. Others work better with tabs or if things are grouped in other ways. To create a great user experience on any platform you're working with (even an older one like Windows), it's important to consider how people will interact with your product and make sure you design accordingly. If someone isn't able to easily use your app or find something they need quickly, chances are they'll go elsewhere for their information - making your efforts worthless. When it comes to designing your UI, think about: How do I want my users to interact with my app? What kinds of interactions am I looking for? Are there certain functions I want them to be able to access quickly? What type of layout works best for these functions? How can I make my app look visually appealing while still being functional? Does my UI design reflect my brand identity/target market? Is there anything else I should consider when designing my UI? Designing a UI takes time, but having an idea of where you want to go before you start can save time and energy down the road. You may even discover that your original idea needs tweaking along the way as well! And remember: Always check with your developer before finalizing any decisions on UI design so that you don't run into problems later down the line.
Real-time Protection
Besides keeping your data safe from hackers and snoops, you also need protection from phishing scams and other schemes that seek to steal your personal information. Most of these attack tactics have a similar MO: They try to trick you into opening an attachment or clicking on a malicious link. By utilizing a real-time protection feature, Kaspersky blocks those attacks—and alerts you if it happens anyway. While all antivirus apps should automatically scan and alert you of suspicious activity inreal-timee, Kaspersky's feature is noteworthy because its technology works as part of your device's operating system, so it can get an early read on incoming threats. You don't have to wait until you're using a specific app. As soon as something suspicious comes through, you're warned right away. This way, there's less chance that some kind of nasty virus will infect your phone without you realizing it until later when things are much worse than they could've been had they just gone undetected at first. With most traditional antivirus software programs running scans every 24 hours or even less frequently, your device would be susceptible for days before getting any sort of warning about what was going on with it. In fact, one study found that over 95% of malware infections occur within three days of initial installation. That means if your antivirus program isn't constantly monitoring everything coming into your device and blocking anything harmful, odds are very good that you'll end up infected. And once you're infected with something like ransomware, which encrypts all your files and then asks for money to unlock them (the FBI says ransoms paid by victims increased by over 3x in 2016), it can take forever to recover everything back to normal even after paying up. That's why having a security suite installed is such a big deal; not only does it stop new viruses from coming in but it can also help recover existing ones.
Phishing Protection
It’s easy to lose track of exactly how many people you give your username and password to. You know that not everyone who asks really needs it, but it’s hard to tell which requests are real and which ones are scams. There’s a reason there are so many phishing attacks on social networks: hackers only have to trick a small percentage of users into clicking theirlinksk to make a whole lot of money. Do you think you can spot a phish? Take our quiz and find out! And don't worry; we won't be collecting your personal information. Your privacy is safe with us! I'm going to read some statements from people looking for support from friends or family members. System Protection
In addition to scanning apps when they're installed, Kaspersky scans your phone in real-time while you use it. It's an important layer of protection against malware that can wreak havoc on your system. Most of these types of apps won't set off a red flag to Google Play Protect (formerly known as Bouncer) if they're designed correctly—but that doesn't mean Google's going to let them be downloaded and installed on other users' phones. Apps are scanned for malicious activity before being downloaded, ensuring that only safe apps make their way into your hands. This makes sure you won't accidentally install malware on your phone or tablet—and helps keep it running smoothly and securely without hampering performance with bloated features you don't need. Flexible Settings: One of my favorite things about Kaspersky Mobile Security is how customizable it is. You can decide which features you want active and which ones you want to be turned off. For example, I don't need anti-theft protection because I have Android Device Manager enabled on my phone so I just disabled that feature to save battery life. There are also parental controls available through some third-party services, but again I found using ADM works well enough so I didn't bother trying out those settings here. The point here isn't whether or not something works perfectly but whether it's flexible enough to meet your needs no matter what they may be at any given moment. Kaspersky has been around since 1997 and was founded by Eugene Kaspersky who is currently its CEO. Its headquarters are located in Moscow, Russia. The company offers antivirus software for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. Their products include endpoint security software for businesses, mobile security solutions for consumers and small businesses plus secure payment solutions such as Safe Money. In 2017 alone more than 400 million people used Kaspersky Lab products worldwide. Kaspersky’s Global Research & Analysis Team (GReAT) discovered more than 500 new pieces of malware every day last year alone!
