How Does it Compare To Amazon?

Comparing Google Shopping and Amazon to figure out the best way to sell your product can be a difficult task. If you are having trouble deciding, here are some key differences between the two platforms.

- One of the benefits of selling on Amazon is that it has much more competition, so if you have an established brand you will have an easier time ranking high.

-You cannot buy Google advertising as of right now, so only people who are actively shopping will be able to find your product.

-There are restrictions for shipping items via Amazon whereas with Google you can ship items in bulk for less cost. -If you want to promote your products but don't want them to go live just yet, Amazon offers this option where as with Google this would not be possible.

-It is harder to see pricing data on Amazon because they do not post prices until they receive an order while Google posts all prices upfront.

Tips For Picking New Categories

1. Pick categories that you know a lot about.

2. Create an informative, easy-to-read page for your product on Amazon before you list it so customers can read up on the specs and compare prices if they're shopping around.

 3. Keep your products to similar or complementary types of goods, like a set of stemware or gift wrap, not sweatshirts and water bottles--unless they match perfectly together as sets.

4. To maximize visibility in Google Shopping search results pages, write good product titles and copy descriptions in compelling ways--put yourself in the shoes of the customer who is considering buying this product right now; are you excited to buy it? Why or why not? How do I do this?

Do Product Lists Display the Same as Product Searches?

As a shopper, if you see an item on your favorite website in the Best Sellings or Hot Products section and can't find it elsewhere in the site, it is important to do some research to make sure that this is where you will actually find the item. The listings could be an error or could have been a temporary promotion that has ended. While these product lists may still be popular with customers, they are not a place to guarantee you will get your hands on a certain item. If you really want to know what products are selling like hotcakes, head over to Google shopping and type in keywords related to the items you're looking for. You'll see all of the sellers who are making those items, as well as how many units each seller has sold within the last 30 days. You'll also be able to view ratings of those sellers so you can choose one that suits your needs best!

Is There a Way to Monitor Orders Directly From GMB?

Go to Google Shopping and type in best sellers. From there, look at the first tab called Best Sellers (in) on the left-hand column. On that page, click on best sellers.

In this case, I'm going to select Jewelry & Watches. Underneath that is a tab called Best-Selling Items. On this page are lists of all items for sale in Jewelry & Watches in their respective positions on the list. The ones that are number one will have links to them so you can view those listings more closely.

Where Can I Get A List of Category Queries So I Can Compile My Own CSV File?

Luckily, there are some amazing websites where you can access a list of these category queries and compile your own CSV file. We recommend finding an Excel spreadsheet containing all of the queries or creating your own in Google Sheets by copying over the URL for the data set. Make sure to grab a few different data sets because one may be more appropriate for your niche than another. Check out our website below for more information on how to get started with building your dataset!

Calculating ROI on PPC Advertising in Google AdWords (The Beginner's Guide)

Now that you've figured out how to find keywords, it's time to think about how much you're willing to spend. Remember when I said earlier that it might not make sense to use PPC if you don't have an unlimited budget? Well, it also doesn't make sense if you're not willing to spend enough money. You need to figure out the Return on Investment (ROI) of your campaign so you know what amount of spending will give you the best bang for your buck. I recommend starting with at least $50/day on Google AdWords just so that you can get a feel for what works and what doesn't work before scaling up more. You'll want to track conversions and conversions per dollar spent in order to calculate ROI. Here are some important metrics to keep track of:

- Cost per conversion (CPC): The cost per conversion is simply the total cost divided by total number of conversions achieved from that ad group. It tells you how many dollars are spent on average per new customer acquired through the ad group.

- Conversion rate: The conversion rate is calculated by dividing number of conversions by number of clicks over a specific period of time.

- Conversion value: The conversion value is calculated by multiplying number of conversions times average order value in this ad group over a specific period of time

When Should I Use Digital Advertising vs. Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? (The Beginner's Guide)

As a business owner, you should be aware of your competition and how they are advertising themselves. When considering what medium to advertise in, you need to think about cost and the message being conveyed. Digital advertising typically is a more costly investment than organic search engine optimization (SEO). There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods. With SEO, the content you share can make it onto Google’s first page without any money spent on advertising at all. The downside of this strategy is that there may not be enough people looking for your product or service to generate high traffic. However, if you have an informational website that provides knowledge, then the low number of visitors might not matter as much. The other downside with SEO is that it takes time for websites to rank higher in searches. It takes many months for sites to break into the top five spots for their category - even with continual blogging and marketing efforts.
